Greenland Corporation Announces Move to New Manufacturing Facility in Oceanside, CA
PR Newswire - May 12, 1999 10:15
SAN DIEGO, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenland Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GLCP) today announced the completion of its move to a new manufacturing facility at 1935 Avenida Del Oro, Suite D, Oceanside, CA.
Dr. Lou Montulli, CEO of Greenland, stated that the Company moved to the newer and larger facility to be better positioned to accommodate the 1999 purchase order for 385 automated check-cashing machines that it received from its master distributor, Smart Cash ATM, on April 9, 1999. The new facility is 11,520 sq. ft and will house the new assembly center, the customer service center, and offices for the technical, financial, and management staffs.
Dr. Montulli further indicated that the move was an important stop for the Company. "It will help to insure that there are no production delays in 1999 due to lack of space for assembly, and there is adequate space for expansion to meet the larger orders anticipated in years 2000 and 2001. This move positions the Company to meet final development requirements and start-up production challenges. It does this by consolidating staff from two widely separated locations into one large office, providing a much needed assembly facility, and bringing together all team members under one roof."
On April 30, the Company announced that the next open stockholder's meeting will be held on July 23, 1999. The Company will host the meeting in its new facility and encourages all stockholders to attend.
