Frank, you live in New York and I don't, but I lived around that area many years back and visited many times (always a great visit). However, I also know that crime became quite a problem after I moved away from the surrounding area in the middle 70's. I get the impression that you are against this technique by the police. If it deters crime, what would any law abiding citizen have against it? Should we just "be nice" and hope the criminals go away? What am I missing here?
