The Blitz, 7 September 1940 to 16 May 1941. en.wikipedia.org Firebombing of Dresden, February 13 to February 15, 1945. en.wikipedia.org BTW, many of the most brilliant minds working on nuclear fission were atheists or Jews (mostly non-observant). Very rare to see a devout Christian brilliant theoretical physicist. Some Anglicans, yes, but that doesn't disprove what I just said.
