KLP, I can't believe that you're serious. I posted: "You can prop up any government of any sect you want in Iraq and the end result will be an antiAmerican, antiIsrael, radical, intolerant and oppressive regime that will be the nightmare of Americans," and your response is: "Maybe. Maybe not. No guarantees in Life, is there? We won the war for them. It is up to them to win the peace." ???"Maybe, Maybe not"??? We've got men and women killing Iraqis and dying over there. We've got billions of dollars a month going down the toilette there. We've got a bumper crop of terrorists being grown and trained there. We've earned the disdain of the world for our actions there and instead of discussing whether the "mission" is doable or worth the cost you say, "no guarantees in Life, is there?" But you DO want to engage in a deep discussion about what you evidently see as the travesty of our Clinton initiated intervention in Bosnia. An intervention, by the way, that was acclaimed throughout the Muslim and Western world as morally justified and efficiently conducted. Am I missing something? What kind of one-way street do you travel? Ed
