LABMAN: I heard a statement on a Canadian National TV show yesterday and it could be used as a "SLOGAN" for Free Internet companies like Cybersurf (CY), X-stream (XSNI) and FreeServe (FREE) etc. As you know, the free Internet depends on advertising. Unlike advertising on television, radio, magazines and newspapers, etc., the statement said "WHEN ADVERTISING ON THE INTERNET YOU ARE JUST ONE CLICK AWAY FROM A TRANSACTION". I like that one.!!! Last year there was $55 million spent on Internet advertising in Canada, not much but up 150% from the year before. In the USA last year Internet advertising was up $1.7 billion. The guy encouraged Canadian companies to get off their rear ends and get involved with the Internet.
