Semi Book-to-Bill Chills

The scare started back in October when the short term outlook was gloomy and, even worse, the 2005 visibility was (and remains) almost non existent. Check the TSMC stock and you know what's going on. TSMC is the largest independent semiconductor wafer fab only manufacturing the product for such companies like BRCM, MRVL and many others. In Q1, 2004 they got on allocation and were running on 105% (!) capacity for a couple of quarters.

Read the article again. Its not a scare. The current B2B suggests the gloomy outlook is not short term. As for TSMC, its an island of prosperity [according to you and your DD] in a sea of red ink.
