Jims. Well....using the word <intelligence> in reference to the activities almost any of the huge, paper shuffling dinosaurs aka US Gov bureaucracies is probably a bit of a stretch.<ng> Watched an interview (about 15 yrs ago) with the author of an incisive and scathing study of the CIA. At one point he said, "The CIA is so inept and incompetent, they wouldn't know a nuclear attack was coming till AFTER the first bomb detonated!" WHO'D-A-THUNK-IT??!! Truly exquisite in it's irony is how prophetic that statement may turn out to be - 15 yrs after the interview. (Wish I could recall the book title, or the author's name) Isopatch
