In determining consistency with the public interest, the Attorney General
must, as discussed above,consider five factors,including:the State's
recommendation;compliance with state, federal, and local laws regarding
controlled substances;and public health and safety.§823(f).

-------------------------

From the case AG Jerry Brown quoted as his reason to ban the DEA from CA
about anything to do with medical marijuana.

This is quoted from the supreme courts ruling. Which was quoting the
Controlled Substance Act itself.

For the same reasons, as quoted by Jerry Brown, the federal CSA does not
apply in these five cities:

Flint

Traverse City

Ferndale

Ann Arbor

Detroit

In addition: The controlled substance act of Michigan automatically reflects the federal CSA. As such, the Michigan CSA should also reflect the legitimacy of medical marijuana in those five cities.

We request that the Attorney General and Governor of Michigan recognize the legitimacy of medical marijuana in these cities.
