Dale and all,
I live in San Francisco and am quite familiar with the topography of the Sacramento -San Joaquin Delta. This area is the confluence of the Sacramento River and the San Joaquin River just prior to their jointly entering San Francisco Bay. There over 1000 miles of waterways surrounding some dozens of man made islands. These islands often are as low as sea level, but are protected by a very extensive system of dikes and levees. Some of these islands have towns on them, and far more have deep oil and gas wells.
The flooding that is referred to over the past couple of months is just local rain runoff. For those not familiar with Central California weather, almost certainly the next rain heavier than strong fog will be in October.
I like the looks of this play and will pick some up asap
.
Regards
Michael
