"Man", the only help I really need is people who stand up to bullshit instead of passively smoking weed and chanting, "Don't sweat it, man. Have another toke."
"Help?" People who blindly sign a legal document are needing help more than I. When you sign something, it is an official notary indication that you understand the agreement you just signed, and agree to the responsibilities, obligations and debts that may therein arise. I can only assume that you don't understand the full legal ramifications ON YOU.
And "Man", you apparently do not have the capability of taking a situation and considering all the ways you could be hurt by it (neither did the Jews in Germany).
"Man", me thinks you have never been royally screwed by anyone. Maybe your wife has a good job and pays most of the bills. Maybe your daddy feeds you money. Or maybe you have a government job. Or maybe you got lucky somewhere, making money while someone else lost their shirt. (I don't know if your conscience can handle it, but FOR EVERY WINNER THERE IS A LOSER.)
Either way, you haven't had to fight the beaurocracy for your rights. Until your freedoms are in jeopardy (or worse - GONE), you won't know how valuable they are.
Or perhaps when you really lose something important at the hands of a beaurocracy that doesn't care and that will survive no matter what, you will hope that some other beaurocracy will come to save you. Gee, I can just picture it: "Big government jumps in to fight big government to protect the common man."
Take comfort knowing that if life treats you badly, you can ask Rivera to interview you on TV so the enlightened masses can feel guilty for your misfortune whether they want to or not.
