B: CBQ Becomes Exclusive Distributor in the United States for Chinese Computer
Producer

BEIJING, China & ARLINGTON, Va., Oct 10, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CBQ, Inc.
(OTCBB:CBQI) announced today that it has become the exclusive distributor in the
United States for Superior Computer Corporation, the fifth-largest computer
producer in China. CBQ thus becomes the first U.S. company to distribute in the
United States computers from a China-owned enterprise.

The agreement was signed in Beijing, China, on October 1, by Bart S. Fisher,
Chairman and CEO of CBQ, Inc., and Zhang Jian Jun, Chairman of Superior Computer
Corporation. Under the agreement CBQ is the exclusive distributor in the United
States for Superior, having the exclusive right to market the products of
Superior, including computers for the home and office, laptop computers,
personal digital assistants, and other products of Superior. Superior Computer
has 50 retail outlets in China, including 30 in Beijing. For additional
information on Superior see chaoqun.com.cn.

CBQ has begun the importation of laptop computers from Superior, which will be
the first Chinese laptop computer offered in the United States. Marketing of
laptop computers by CBQ has commenced with large chains and other outlets.

The Government of China has indicated that it will support exports of computers
from China through export financing. China's exports of computers in the first
half of 2000 increased 665% over 1999, indicating that the computer sector is
poised for additional export growth. China produced an estimated 5 million
computers in 1999.

"We are aiming to have Chinese laptops to U.S. consumers by Christmas," said
Bart S. Fisher, Chairman and CEO of CBQ. "Both in terms of quality and price,
CBQ will present a great product in what is the fastest-growing segment of the
U.S. computer market. It is no secret that U.S. consumers are seeking
lower-priced merchandise in the computer market, and we will have a strong entry
in the field. CBQ has additional products in the pipeline for importation from
China, which will be imported by China Partners, a wholly owned trading company
affiliate of CBQ."
