Trans Max Technologies Inc., Perma-Tune Division Introduces Three New Products at the Miami International Boat Show

RONKONKOMA, NY, Feb 27, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Perma-Tune Electronics Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trans Max Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:TMXT), today announced that its debut in tandem with Aero Marine Engine Inc. (OTCBB:ARMR) at the Miami International Boat Show February 12th through 17th was an unqualified success. Perma-Tune introduced its new Plasmatronic ignition system, engine management system and flat panel engine instrumentation display at the show.

Plasmatronics and Aero Marine Engine were sought out for two major television interviews, and were selected for approximately eight full-length, feature magazine articles, in addition to features on several Internet marine Web sites. Copies of the interviews will be available soon for interested individuals.

The combination of Perma-Tune's Plasmatronics' highly advanced engine management system with their PDI plasma technology maximizes the performance of Aero Marine's axial vector engine. Sales of Aero Marine's axial vector engine will offer Plasmatronics a new market for its advanced electronics.

Plasmatronics showcased its revolutionary Plasma Drive Ignition ("PDI"), its newly developed encoder-based engine management featuring individual cylinder control for spark and fuel, and RS-232 interface to an ergonomic, easy to use flat-panel pilot display visible in all light conditions. This new interface replaces bulky, complex wiring harnesses.

Said Lonnie Lenarduzzi, president and chief scientist for Perma-Tune, "To understand what we've done with the Plasma Drive Ignition, you must throw out everything you knew about spark ignition. This is a completely new way of achieving incredibly efficient combustion. Using never-before exploited principles of physics, the PDI produces a cleaner burn than ever before possible, converting nearly all available fuel -- whatever it may be -- to torque. This process results in a thrilling, measurable increase in performance, dramatically better fuel economy and as a result, reduced emissions."

Major marine engine manufacturers and boat companies expressed high-level interest in OEM agreements for Plasmatronics' electronics as soon as we are prepared to commit to shipping schedules and come to terms on technology integration contracts.

Cobra engines provided Plasmatronics with their standard 1,200 HP motor. Upon initial installation of their PDI system, dyno charts indicated an immediate gain of 25HP.

Seasoned veterans in the marine industry repeatedly said of the technology that this is the first new engine technology that makes sense for marine applications in decades. They stated that the company is offering a high-torque, low-RPM, lightweight engine with dramatically reduced maintenance and 40% fewer parts, exceptionally advanced electronics, plus availability for alternative fuel applications. Among the comments heard was, what a winning combination of benefits.

Richie Powers, president of Aero Marine Engine Inc., and seven-time world offshore racing champion, said, "This is the most exciting boat show I have ever worked in my long history in the marine industry. The advanced technology we've assembled here and our top-gun team of technical personnel are incredible. Together, we will bring our revolutionary new products forward to the public to satisfy the immediate demand we saw from the marine industry in Miami."
