Just got the annual report. PANL is a PA company. It has 40 patents for commercial use and applications of a research project in "Photonics and Optoelectronic Materials (POEM)" presently under research and development at Princeton U and at USC. The chemistry prof at USC moved there from Princeton. The research also gets funding from Federal and State (of NJ) - technology development programs. PANL (or Universal Display Corp) is the private company that puts in $3 million a year on the research. I don't think they have a good (i.e. eye catching) prototype yet. PANL will have the annual meeting this month (don't recall when) and they will show a small panel (maybe 3 to 4 inch size) using this technology. I am sure most analysts will not be impressed by it. There will be time to buy into PANL at lower price in the next 12 months. A good prototype is at least two years away. PANL probably will raise more money from private offering (I hope to pick up some of that 144s).

I have confidence on these two guys' brilliant minds and in OLED-POEM technology, just as I did with Lee Iacoca and Chrysler restructuring at a time when most stock analysts thought C was going down the drain.
