I was empanelled on one jury that was dismissed before the case came to trial because the judge was a ditz. It was some sort of DUI case and the judge referred to previous convictions for DUI right in front of the jury as it was being empanelled.

When she did that, I looked over at the defense lawyer and saw him becoming somewhat agitated. I thought to myself, good, we'll be dismissed soon, and sure enough, we were sent off to sit in the jury room for about half an hour and then dismissed.
