Many Americans won't do anything. Heck most people won't and haven't based on history. Don't know if there's really much one could do. I think tho, that the govt is taking that article seriously, based on this mornings check list of possible terrorist activities on CNN. They deep sixed that first report so there won't be panic in the streets.

Looking at the jet stream weather pattern this week, a nuke in say Chicago area would carry south and east and cover, a major portion of the populace. I believe this is scary stuff and that if true, teh probability that it can be stopped will be because of the public's awareness. The trick is to have the public aware enough so that someone, somewhere, will report something that will catch the terrorist, without panic and conversely without "crying wolf".
