Our Army of Liberation in Iraq was supposed to be down to 30,000 by year-end, giving us lots of idle soldiers available to knock over the next domino. Unless, of course, the dominoes were so shocked and awed at what we'd done in Iraq, they just surrendered unconditionally.

Having another nice little war right before the election, was also planned. If there aren't enough soldiers to "do" Syria or Iran, they may have to get by with Liberia. Liberia, of course, has just as many WMD, and is just as big a threat to America, as Iraq. And we will provide them with just as much freedom and prosperity as we have bestowed on Iraq (and Afghanistan).
