GLOBEX Futures and Asian markets look GRIM. Gold gapped up on the Sydney market. I think they see war. And I've got to fly twice next week.

If no weapons of mass destruction are found by the United Nations inspection team, led by Hans Blix and Mohamed Elbaredi, what will or should America do?
Ah, did anyone ever believe they would be found? Saddam has had YEARS to prepare for these inspections. And knew they were coming months in adavance. If you had something to hide and had that much warning, would it be found?

We'll see what's found after the US troops are on the ground.

Will Bush decide on war anyway?
Days away.

If the Bush Administration plays the war card, is there any way to stop America's generals from marching innocent young Americans into the sands of time of a windy war?
Yes. Win the war quickly and efficiently. And without the like of you nudging their elbows.

Or maybe you could ask Saddam to pack up and leave. If he does and takes his family with him, no war.

Perhaps you should study George Patton. His idea was that you hit them hard and moved fast. If you did so, the enemy didn't have time to prepare positions that cost many lives to take.

How would history view this war?
Probably positively in the long run. How does history view the overthrow of Adolph Hitler?

Could the war in Iraq be prevented if the chief weapons inspectors, Hans Blix and Mohamed Elbaredi, because the inspection team cannot find any weapons of mass destruction, decide themselves to become human shields and, thus, remain in Iraq, defiance of Bush and a concern for innocent civilians who'd die? What if the pope went to Baghdad and stayed, in a call for no bombs?
Forget it. Hide in a hole if you want. But it's going to happen.
