I decided to concentrate on large no limit tourney's only.

I have been playing one or two big tourny's a night. Am getting better, an 11th two days ago and 5th tonight. Usually 500 to 5,000 players and every tourney costs over $100 to enter.

I was a big chip leader at 5th tonight and just blew it and busted out at 5th.

I watched the world series. I saw some huge mistakes. I did not like the winner guy. He got so lucky and was such a mouth. It was more luck than his skill. I liked the quiet guy-lol.

I hate this bragging and posturing and acting up in poker these days. When I play I am always very courteous. There are so many good players and on any given day anyone can beat the other.

And getting excited when one wins an all in is bs. A 7/2 os is not that much of a dog to a/k.

Everyone is playing at such a close level that individual levels of play each day are more important than anyone dominating. Every tourney I see at least one mistake I make and hopefully will not have to repeat-lol.

I think there is still a lot to learn that I just cannot see. But I watched the whole world series and didn't see anything spectacular. And when I see guys going all in with ace jack, or a small pair I cringe-lol. Those are such bad plays.

Stealing and avoiding traps are the most important things to learn.

One thing to remember, is if a guy comes over the top of you out of the blue he has it. I layed down jj tonight against 3 people and would have wiped them out: two ace/kings and ace queen, so nothing could fall-lol. jj's would have been good.

Am really looking forward to playing next year. I am going to enter several big tourney's. The most important thing will be to pace myself with lots of rest and some light exercise.

No way I am going to fear a bunch of kids-lol. The guy who busted out 3rd? in the world series was a stanford PHD physicist.

He must be so smart, so I wonder what he sees that I cannot. But I must see some things he can not as I have beat many math and physics guys.

I think each person is playing with a different reality, but they are sort of like a sword and a chain and ball-lol.

No limit poler is so facinating to me and has so many levels. Wish I had another 30 years to learn it better.
