Ah, sort of. But you need to recalibrate your picture. THE car of choice for academics that can afford them are Volvos. For all the very obvious reasons.

As for the new car purchase, it was an SUV; one of the types now built on car frames rather than truck frames, the Toyota Highlander. Built, as your guesses correctly point, on the Camry frame.
