The only thing you are good at is hating people that don't agree with you.

I think you have me confused with someone else.

If you were not "born" into SI yesterday, you may have noticed that the hate and the insults goes the other way round around here.

No one should expect anything substantive from the left-wing bozos at SI. What do you believe?? Why can't you make an intelligent response, a thoughtful reply?

Are you drunk?

Excuse me if your vitriol has not really left me with much enthusiasm to respond to your post.

Still, suffice it to say if these comments from a Bush speech are what you consider "intelligent", and really think they cannot be answered, I understand how you can say this:

Why can't you make an intelligent response, a thoughtful reply?

Basically, Bush says in these two paragraphs, respectively:
(1) All Saddam did in the past decade is build WMDs, rather than providing for his people. (Wrong. He was under sanctions the whole time. Nobody knows of any WMDs he bought or built in the last decade. All theories of Saddam being a danger rest on the WMDs he had BEFORE, which US believes he has NOT destroyed) We will make sure he cannot use WMDs again. (Assuming he has WMDs, invading his country will force him to use them. It is the stupidest way to try to "prevent" him from using WMDs)

(2) We do not wish to move unilaterally (Well, Mr President, you hide it really well.) But we will, because we feel like it although there is no proof because we CAN. If we don't, either Saddam will bomb us with chemical warheads (His missiles have cannot even reach Israel, how is he going to bomb the US???), or terrorists will take them from him (Just like in the last decade, the last five years of which there were not even any inspectors in Iraq, when Saddam gave NOTHING to terrorists?)

The two paragraphs that you have posted can be mistaken as "intelligent" only by the most naive and ignorant about the current situation, as well as the history of the conflict. However, this sentence is my personal favourite:

I say one of the great luxuries of being the world's only superpower for a while -- and it won't last forever probably, but for a while -- is that there is always time enough to kill.

No comment to this.
