Oil Steadies Below $89

SYDNEY (Reuters) -
U.S. light crude for March delivery barrel fell 7 cents to $88.89 a barrel by 0127 GMT, paring earlier losses of as much as 63 cents as traders had initially expected Friday's step fall to continue.

London Brent crude fell 19 cents to $89.25.
