NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- H-NET,COM, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HNSP - news) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Network Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSOL - news; NSI) of Herndon, Virginia. With this agreement H-NET© will offer clients NSI services, such as domain registration, domain management and the ability to create low cost e-commerce websites on-line.
Under terms of the agreement, NSI will share revenues as H-NET© clients make use of a wide array of products and services. H-NET© and NSI will share revenue derived from domain registration and management and co-branded dot com directory services.
In addition, NSI will supply management support from its customer and technical specialists to handle H-NET© customer inquiries. H-NET© also will benefit from the NSI co-marketing contribution program, whereby it will receive quarterly contributions to increase awareness to customers. This includes NSI Real Names program and the PRNCA Service from which H-NET© will command a share of revenue.
The agreement also allows H-NET© to offer customers ``Image Cafe' to create their own low-cost, on-line, e-commerce websites. Customers can choose the theme, color arrangement and other features while building a site from automatic on-line wizards. H-NET© will share revenues from a schedule scaled to the number of customers and the sizes of the e-commerce sites. Customers may then choose either the H-NET© merchant payment system or the NSI payment system, while receiving NSI's Web Site Manager free for a period of time, allowing a gradual introduction to Internet e-commerce.
