David; I posted the following email to Avid Marketing: I'm a freelance Avid editor and an investor. On the Silicon Investor's board for C-Cube Microsystems there was a recent post regarding Avid that indicated that Avid was submitting technical papers at a European conferennce regarding a move into MPEG Technology. I was wondering if you could confirm if Avid is considering a move into this area and if so how it will impact the Media Composer and the MC Express, or will it be primarily for the consumer Avid Cinema product?
