How many is too many? One kid is too many...but its not a rampant as you think. More kids burn their house down by playing with lighters and matches then shooting themselves of friend with their parents gun. But that aside.... If you have a kids in the house, you need to keep the gun locked up. Not using these stupid trigger lock. There are plenty of safes that have access codes, so you can keep the gun loaded, in the safe, and you are able to get to it in about 1 seconds. I have no kids running around my apartment. So I generally it unlocked. Once I have kids, if it is not on me, it will be locked up. That’s just part of being a responsible parent.
