New Focus, founded in 1990, is a fiber-optics pioneer and highly respected in the field. The company targets technology sectors where its expertise gives it a competitive advantage, and it designs its products from the start, for low-cost, high-volume manufacturing.

Excellent article. Few understand that NUFO isn't a hot-shot fiber optics start-up but a seasoned company with a solid history. These guys are the Van Cliburns and Isaac Stern's of the industry, not nightclub hacks someone's trying to pass off as pros.
