Was concerned about my investment in QKTN, so unllike you called up co. on Thursday. Had lengthly discussion with C.F.O. Told me no new news had come out. Ikos announcments had no effect on stocks performance. Soundview Financial did downgrade earning est., week earlier due to slowdown in Japan. Asia counts for 25% of sales with Japan being 20%. Europe was up U.S. expected. Sales growth is at 20% to 25% per year for this Co. Profit margins are increasing according to C.F.O., currently 70% on gross profit and 14% after profits. Have the impression that product is sound and is needed in the market place if chips are to be downsized in the future. This Co. will benefit as the leader in EMULATION TOOLS over all their competition. Told me they did not guide Soundview in their downgrade as far as earnings but did say that every shortfall in sales of 1 million equals a pprox., 2 cents per share. Blame it on Japan, not competition At this price it looks cheap, anyway i would look stupid selling this laggard at this current price down the road . Starting up a commercial site and gained an insite on VERI-SIGN. Was at 27 at the time ,and did not bite but wish I had. Up 9 points for the week. The point is good Co., but no profits for years to come. Internet stocks are hot but wheres the beef? Stick with the value and in the long run you will make out.
