The following is exactly as I received it.

ALYD message -- updated and ready for launch

Dave --

It's truly amazing and definitely amusing; a participant on the
ALYD thread refers to me as an Anonymous Cyber-Hemmorhoid (ACH)
and suggests that the SI webmistress be contacted to clear the
thread. (see T.McWilliams, reply #2199). If you don't find this
amusing, you have no sense of humor and should see a shrink!

I suggest you post my e-mail address immediately by posting the
full text of this message: I don't wish to be anonymous (which
was never my intention).

edward.h.greenberg@jpl.nasa.gov

Also, since I find the characterization highly amusing, I gladly
accept the pen-name "ACH" and hope to do it honor in the future.

I should also add that some people on the ALYD thread seem more
up-tight than warranted by the situation. And whether they're
willing to admit it or not, angry tirades directed at views they
don't share, or which are based on inadequate research, can only
have a deleterious effect on free speech and the transmission of
information.

Maybe Matt didn't do his full DD. Does that mean he should be
crucified? In some quarters, I suppose it does!

TO: Jeffrey Mitchell:

Thanks for your post concerning shares issued and outstanding.
From earlier posts, and from your apparent disinclination at
first to respond head-on with facts, I was under the impression
that Matt was right that the introduction to the thread had some
outdated information on shares outstanding and issued.

It now appears that your current information is more up to date
than the introduction -- in which case Matt wasn't entirely
off-the wall.

BTW, am I to equate shares outstanding to the public float,
whereas the larger figure (shares issued) includes non-public
shares held by insiders?

In retrospect, if you had posted such a clear reply when Matt
first raised the issue, the situation wouldn't have become an
angry flap. The upside of course is that I now know who I am.
T.McWilliams -- you made my day!

POSTSCRIPT:

This will be my last post in this form. I'll join SI next month.
For what it's worth, I believe I made a contribution - we now
have clear information on ALYD's stock situation.

I remain long on ALYD and IAIC.
