Don't have a clue Dave , I use southwest securuties . I have a hunch that Datek would be as able to fill your short as any there's so many traders on the internet.But Datek isn't a per se daytrading outfit . I have to have a list of stock that they keep in inventory. Don't use MB , or failing that have to call the home office and they can sometimes borrow what I want to short . Problem w/ alot of daytrading firms is that they discourage overnighting stock. Because of gaps and commissions . Let me know if you find a brokerage w/ alot of inventory . best of luck . richard
