Ditto on the prayers. I would have few issues with negligent homicide if I were on the jury, if he doesn't make it. The view out of the truck could have been obstructed by the long hood. No excuses for the first car. The guy was right there in front of him, upright, in a crosswalk, walking. One good thing about the newer cars is that they have proximity warning sensors.

Defensive driving - defensive walking - defensive biking. Good to keep in mind. Trust no one.
