The worst case scenario can be censored from American public or can be used to further the self righteous justification of the war or any destructive action.

The immediate toll of civilian deaths and the subsequent US/British nuclear chemical related llnesses and environmental disaster can also be attributed in reverse role of blame games. American public can always be shielded from such news, and can be happy getting news presented from a different even if twisted limelight.

In post Saddam, any attack to US/British combat and peacekeeping forces can and will be attributed to Al Qaida/Saddam terror operations. Reports in domestic American press will likely be reverse twisted limelight and opposite to international news.

The reverse psychology will be in vogue for many months and can be effective. How long this game can be played? Just long enough until the economy turns around and divert attention from war and fear to good times? Or, if US economy doesn't turn around quickly, it can also be used to show how much better off we are compared to those in Iraq.

It's all in the presentation and it has proven to be very effective.
