Interesting parallels between Cisco and NTAP. One of the things that's always struck me about Cisco is that they are "technology agnostic" -- they don't do that much in-house r&d, and they don't become evangelists of any specific technology (other than ip networks in general). They prefer to just buy companies that have the technologies that work.

Does NTAP have a similar philosophy?
