Now "The Footsick Countries" of Europe are France and Germany = "Central Europe" with the former luster gone. I think you exaggerate. Airbus doesn't look so sick..neither does Alcatel and Siemens. Berlin looks like one of the more interesting capitals of the world. Besides, its the EU now......not France or Germany or "die fusskranken Länder". ted
