Steve, The church requires a certain mode of baptism for membership, not attendance. Of course some churches don't have membership. I think it is probably better to have a membership roll that way the elder's know who they are to shepherd and who they are accountable to God for. So you conducted believer baptisms, obviously by emersion? I don't guess that y'all baptise infants, but you probably do have "baby dedications", is this correct? At this point I can't join this church, which requires a new baptism, I think that it would be wrong to do it again. Things used to be so simple, when the church I was attending had all of the answers.<g> God bless, Paul
