No news to report to you regarding factory readiness, but I still believe that this company is poised for a breakout, big time. We all know fundamentally what VLNC is capable of. But, technically, it's tough to judge an R&D/pre-manufacturing company's price charts. Well, I checked out a 24 month price/volume chart on the NASDAQ site, and take a look:

nasdaq.com

What I see is a very bullish trend whereby all significant rises in price are accompanied by high volume, while the subsequent declines are made up of low volume declines. This stock will move on news and it is apparently followed by many. The declines seem to represent smaller players getting impatient with their money, as they are slow to develop and accompanied by low volume.

I go back and forth as to what to do about VLNC. There's obviously going to be a lot of companies vying for the portable consumer electronic battery market...it's just too big to ignore. However, like I've stated before, this company has proven they have the skill to put the deals together and are on the verge of commercialization. I like my odds, for now :-)
