Good execution of wrong strategy can only make it worse. Msft succeeded many times when they were later in a game. Many times a late in a game is caused by a late change in strategy intent. Msft did not have a right internet plan until it is six months late. Believe me, msft does not like to give away their internet products for free. They have to do that. Those give-aways are not investments, they are fines for their mistake in the strategy. Whether msft can succeed in this late game is still to be seen. Internet line is for something beyond the next two years, at least profit wise. For the next two years, msft will be OK, simply because of its nt. Michael
