Of course. :)

And so are a bunch of us.

I'm running a routine right now to just identify (but not delete -- yet) folder_links records that either point to non-existent messages or point to public messages where the link-holder is neither sender nor recipient.

I'm finding a LOT of them.

In the first 56,000 records, I've found 9700 folder links meeting either of those criteria, mostly the latter, which is the scenario that'll cause public messages not to you to appear in your inbox on Dev.

Was it ever (or is it now) possible to file a message that wasn't written to or by you? We have this on iHub, but I thought it was unique there.

I'm hoping that this really is a data glitch and that I can just zap those records, because it would be pretty expensive to have the Inbox check each of your folder_links to make sure you're really the recipient of the message.

Edit, actually those messages have to be in Folder 1 (Inbox) to cause the glitch we're seeing. There are only 350k total in everyone's Folder 1.
