Company 76: Test equipment, alignment, calibration, electronic maintenance, distance support, radar, life-cycle support, AN/SPY-1.
The US Navy is technologically dependent on complex electronic systems. Current system maintenance methodologies require an inordinate amount of test equipment, man-hours, and manpower training. The ADEPT (Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Testset) enables a simplified, intelligent, common test and maintenance approach and reduces current test equipment requirements. This significantly reduces system support costs while increasing system readiness and operational precision. Developed by a company with over 30 years experience in electronic naval systems development, ADEPT prototypes have reduced alignment time and manpower requirements for the AN/SPY-1 radar by over 50%. Funding has been secured to qualify ADEPT for shipboard use and establish an ISO 9001, MIL-qualified production line. The company seeks relationships with prime contractors and life-cycle support contractors to develop additional system cost-reduction applications. |
