Glad to have you on board.

The question you ask is a highly debatable one. Herewith my opinions:

First of all, I consider TSIS to be a bit different from most penny stocks. That's the arena they originated in ... and languished in for years ... but I now see significant improvement. Unlike many penny stocks, they have a real product ... and it works ... and they have actual sales ... to Fortune 500 companies, among others ... and are audited ... and have been profitable for at least one month. In the near future is announcement of their next quarterly results -- hopefully a full profitable quarter. And on the horizon are announced plans to work toward becoming a listed company.

Many other penny stocks have some of these achievements ... a few may have all of them. But my point is that, IMHO, TSIS is a bit different.

Regarding holdings by people active on this thread.... One member of the thread offered to do the summing up, maybe a month ago, and it appears that based on the responses he received, a decent-sized fraction of the float is controlled by people who are either active here or are lurkers here. The exact fraction is not made public lest it become useful to market makers or shorters. And, of course, this sum total is only as accurate as the inputs people sent in, and there is no real way to verify the figures.

Does this mean that we can influence the price? Probably not, 'cuz if'n we coulda, we already woulda! <grin> It does provide some strength against slash and burn shorters who would come into the thread and attempt to scare everyone into selling.

But if you think about it, how else would an investor ever find out about this stock unless he were active online? No brokerage houses follow it. In fact, most brokerage houses are prohibited from recommending it to their clients. The company placed an ad one-time in IBD. But other than that, it's really a fairly small circle of people who are able to learn about the company (although I expect that to change within the next year or so).

Perhaps we are in on the ground floor of something? That's why I have a substantial long position in TSIS. And why I caution people to consider TSIS as a long-term hold, rather than as a day-trading ... or "pop up" ... stock.

Hope this helps.
