I have coffee with a long haul trucker and he told me about when he hauled a tanker full of vodka from California to Florida. First weigh station, the attendant broke the seal to check the load. Trucker called the number he'd been given. Pretty soon the Fed chopper arrives, they cuff the attendant, put on a new seal and haul the attendant away. Every weigh station for the rest of the trip had a guy waving him on even if the station was open.
