Regarding a thread influencing a stock price, it depends on the stock. A stock with a small float and a tight group of investors CAN DEFINITELY influence the price. Just check out DGIV and you will see how DGIVers are able to take the and MAINTAIN the price (from 0.4 to 6 in 3 months!). BTW, HUGE news are expected out of DGIV next week!

If it is a stock like INTC, MSFT<DELl then the answer is probably NO, a thread just does not have enough control of the float to influence the price.
IMO, of couse!
