consider this:

at the rate prices of computers and components are going (PC's, DRAMS, Hard Drives, etc.)in ten years you will be able to buy them either through Borders or Amazon.com... yep, as if they were books! I wonder if in their long term planning any of these computer makers are re-doing their economic models as if they were book publishers...

the silver lining to all this is that there wont be much of a market for Network PC's.
