Here is Kerry's 1971 testimony before congress. Read it in full and tell me where Kerry slandered anyone. Tell me also that he did not love his fellow soldiers. The testimony was a very painful and powerful one, brought people to tears and exposed the truth about Vietnam, that it had turned into a monster, and had turned many of our troops into monsters too. But Kerry was not condemning those troops. He felt deeply for the the men he fought beside and knew it was not their fault but the war's itself, and those who'd mis-planned the war and lied about it. In fact his own boat-mate machine-gunned some innocent people. So he saw it first-hand, what it had become. And he told us the painful truth.
