The first trading day of '99 and BUGS is off to a heck of a start. Perhaps the news release from last week has kicked in but who knows for sure what the reason is. One would have to consider the possibility of some of the managers of the Fortune 500 companies (intending to do business with US Microbics) buying BUGS for their personal accounts.... Off Topic: What do you think about RDIM?? Mid January is expected to see the Beta site premier for their website. Daily volume is usually heavy given the smallish float and their Internet Market. They have a very lengthy and informative audio conference call which you can listen to with Real Audio. Like US Microbics.... I expect once RDIM changes their name (to reflect their business activities) they will receive much more investment interest. A name for their website is being nailed down with Internick<sp>. I would expect it to be complimentary to their Internet wholesale buying club services. I believe now is the time to load up.. before the middle of January. They have two SI threads and one is pretty much gonna consolidate into the other. The thread is: RDIM - The Next SAMS/Walmart Ecommerce Play. Like BUGS they expect revenues of $30MM this year from the acquisition of some private membership clubs. Earnings of about $2MM are expected and this figure may grow if they succesfully ramp up their Asian website. The thing that separates RDIM from any other possible Internet Wholesale Buying Clubs is that they expect to have about 100 physical Showrooms situated through out the country for Shoppers to visually see their intended purchases. Their website will have 3D modelling and audio capability of the products from over 1500 manufacturers. Also Financial, Medical, and group Insurance rates will be offered to club members. Revenues will be derived from three sources. Management consists of Ex- Sears people and the man that basically introduced E-Commerce to the masses via E-Flowers. He is billed as one of the top 100 Internet commerce guys in the country. They are expected to acquire PCN this month and they are expecting to have an Asian Website up servicing the Asian Community. They are doing something with an Asian Website that received 16 million hits last month??? I am a little perplexed on that one but management suggests that operating that Asian Web can produce significant returns at a 25% lower cost than in the U.S. Please leave me know what you think of this one.... the share price represents their current status as a developmental company in the transition to an operational company.
