A year on, I wonder if everyone is ready for interest rates to zoom up to reasonably reward all those who are carefully saving their hard-earned dollars. 1% or less interest rate isn't very exciting for carrying the risk of a fiat currency, albeit backed by the promise to do a good job by the estimable Uncle Al.

Markets have zoomed on the back of low interest rates.
