So, to point out that a view or action is a racist one (the Mexican Repatriation Act, for one) actually makes me a racist? You're not qualified to point out racism, because you don't even know what racism is. You wind up accusing many people of being racists who aren't.
according to that flawed logic, the people fighting for equal rights in the south were racists, How can fighting for equal rights be racist? Can you explain that logic to me?

I've already told you that I'd welcome ANYONE here except people that are our enemies. People that are trying to kill us. If i had my way, I'd drain Mexico of every able bodied worker that wants to come here LEGALLY. I'd make it easy for them to come. There would be a few rules.
1. Criminal and health background checks. No gang members allowed. No criminals allowed.
2. No government handouts EVER. For ANYONE.
3. No right to vote until citizenship is acquired.
4. Violent crimes or gang activity gets you immediately deported. Be a good guest or resident or LEAVE.
5. Learn English within 3 or 4 years and you are welcome to stay indefinitely. Assimilate into our culture and we'll welcome you as citizens. Learn the way our government is supposed to work. etc, etc.
I'd have different rules for the ones already illegally here. But the point is I wouldn't put a limit on the number of people who could come here to work. Nor would I limit what kind of work they could do or the wages they could earn. And it's not because I'm a bleeding heart. It's not out of sympathy. I understand that the more people that work in an economy, the stronger the economy becomes. So I WANT as many workers as possible, provided they are law abiding and not on the public dole. More people working actually creates MORE jobs. Unfortunately our bureaucrats don't understand that. So they pass laws that are counter productive to our economy.
If potential immigrants are law abiding and just want to work they would be welcomed by me. If you were not such a demagoguing race baiter we would be on the same side of many things.
