It's not Schwab that got a piece but "Epoch Partners", Schwab's new investment bank partnership. Instead of being a junior member of a syndicate, they now show up on the cover page of the prospectus. Hopefully, this means that they're going to be getting bigger allocations instead of the meager 50 and 80K crumbs they were getting on previous deals. Being elevated to the status of an investment bank means that they should start originating some deals themselves and consequently should be accorded more respect in the investment banking community than they held as simply a retail channel. Not that I'm any more enthusiastic about Corio. The float and shares being distributed both seem high to me which is likely to limit upside. Then again, I felt the same way about CommerceOne a year ago and look what it did! - OU
