Pan American Silver Receives Russian Export Decree

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Pan American Silver Corp. (TSE: PAA; NASDAQ: PAAS) has been informed that Russian resident Boris Yeltsin today signed a Presidential Decree authorising Pan American's Russian subsidiary, ZAO Serebro Dukat, to export silver concentrates from its Dukat silver mine to foreign smelters from the year 2000 through 2003.
