Why don't you compare the status of Hindus in Pakistan in 2007 with the status of Muslims in India in 2007? If you follow the game of Cricket, you would know that a well known cricketer - Pakistani gentleman by the name of Yousuf Yohanna (a christian living in Pakistan), converted to Islam is now called Yousuf Mohammed. His conversion was like less than 5 years ago - his current age is somewhere in the 30's. No diferent to Cassius Clay becoming Mohammed Ali.
