IMO, I get a strong feeling that the next quarter will be "huge", and the one afterwards the same. I'll be looking to check all the news in the next few months to back this all up. I'm making one basic assumption. Network sectors are picking up. Growth will be from mediocre growth to exponential. Areas like gigabit ethernet and switch routing will gain huge attention. Palm Pilot will also gain huge attention and will be almost a new product in 6 months from now. 56K Modems will be a "must have" item. We will see beginnings of Cable modems and xDSL, but most people know that modems are a good temporary solution and they will work well until later in '99 that they become more ubiquitous. Also, expect to see Microsoft alliance with COMS. Very strong integration of COMS networking influence in the NT operating system. Much more to come... joe
