Wait a minute, didn't Schmidt's options just vest? Wasn't he scheduled to get a million shares after he was at the Novell helm for a year? at a few pennies a share. Can someone remember? If so he has every incentive for a buyout. He could probably cut a better deal with the next company. Ooops forgot about the braindead BOD. Can't surrender than power, deadly combination Viagra and Prozac.
